I recently finished my bar cart. We've wanted one for about a year, but I've never seen one that was decent for less than $150 (thanks Mad Men for spiking the popularity?). There's a few different versions for diy carts floating around on the internet and I went with the IKEA hack because the price was so cheap.
The microwave cart from IKEA on sale for $24.99 (!!!). It doesn't even look cheap. I bought two cans of high quality gold spray paint (Krylon 14k gold) and finished it over the weekend. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
