It's warm again! And my allergies have chilled out some, thank goodness.

I made some sugar cookies for my students. They look questionable (pepto-bismal pink..). I was going to keep adding red food coloring, but I stopped. I'm not sure why. They taste good though because I used a good sugar cookie recipe that has been recommended before. I dyed the sugar that went on top, too. That was fun. I just dropped in red liquid food coloring to a small bowl of sugar, mixed it, and layed it out on some wax paper to dry.

brrr.

Oh my goodness it's cold out. And windy. My sinuses/allergies are going nuts. My nose seems to be in a constant I-have-to-sneeze state. I only have sneezed a couple times today though... So I just get to look like a weirdo squinting a lot and staring at light fixtures.

The sun is coming out this weekend though! I'll gladly take the arctic temps during the week than over the weekend.

Snow forecast

Um, so remember a couple weeks ago that I was complaining I wanted snow?

The last week here has been so warm! We had temperatures in the high 70s. It was bliss. Now the weather is taking a turn, but that is OK with me, if there is a chance for snow..



Crossing my fingers, throwing salt over my left shoulder, etc. etc. !!
